Ingredients:
140g self-raising flour
75g soft butter
1 egg
1 drop of vanilla extract
Sliced cherries and strawberries
Apparatus:
Electric mixer
Oven
Large bowl
Skewer
Measuring beaker
Baking tray
Baking paper
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180d celsius.
2. Place the baking paper on top of the baking tray.
3. Mix 35g of butter with the sugar using creaming method.
4. Mix egg and vanilla extract together in the measuring beaker.
5. Slowly add them into the butter mixture and continue mixing.
6. Slowly add in the flour and mix until all ingredients are combined.
7. Spread a thin sheet of mixture on the baking paper.
8. Spread the sliced cherries and strawberries on top of the layer.
9. Add the rest of the mixture until all is used.
8. Place the baking tray into the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
9. Check with a skewer. If skewer comes out clean, take the cake out.
